Exhibition day went well

Only positive responses on the first day.

Strangely a whole bunch of people found their way down to our basement.

Chaotic last minute coding

We went to work on the finnishing the last details ant installing the hardware in the basment of Navet.
It, of course, took us longer than we expected. At 24:00 we had just got power to all computers and soundsystems.
When the comunication worked I went home and left Markus and Olle to make the final adjustments to the sound.
I should have calculated already then that they would stay in and implement new features.

When I got here in the morning, the system were up and running and fine tuned.

Olle and Markus did a great job coding away hidden in the basement.

Small things that make a big difference

Today we made a lot of small things that hopefully will make the JamRoom more enjoyable. A lot of time was spent on putting more of the visuals together and we also finished the bongo makeover. The later hours of the day were spent on tuning some of the visuals and making them more varied.

During the day some finish on the different instruments was done and we also put together some of the code, made more visual stuff and at the very end of the day we even got to do a testjam which felt pretty good at least for those participating in it.

A couple of days ago we got an additional workstation for handling the graphics.

Morin delivered a projector yesterday. So now were test shooting visuals on a wall here in the studio.

Markus got a hold of a couple of DK-Bongos yesterday.

The hardware showed more potential than we expected

The two drumskins have two individual drum-sensors each, one in the upper part of the drum and one in the lower part. (Digital)
The shell also contains a sound-detector that registers the level of sound

Sperm Whale with group

We’ve spent the day constructing a visualization for the DTH which incoperates a variety of fishes.

Among these a Kaskelot. Since the group wanted to be represented, we had to add our pictures with the fishes.

MiniMoog is in da house

When the synth-chief (that would be Markus) were home sick we took a chance and installed a MiniMoog synth on the soundcomputer.

We also altered the DTH-function to change the tone on distance change instead of pitching.
